Since joining the 12 News team in September 2013, he has covered four Patriots Super Bowls, including exciting victories against the Seahawks, Falcons, and Rams, as well as two Red Sox World Series victories in 2013 and 2018. Yianni presented live post-game broadcasts from the field following each championship game.

In addition, he covered the Bruins’ run to the Stanley Cup Final in 2019. In addition, he covered URI and PC basketball in the NCAA Tournament, as well as the Friars Hockey Championship team, and he co-hosted Inside Rhode Island Basketball with Dan Hurley.
