Parros began his career as a theater actor. He eventually gained little movie success. In 1984, Parros made his television debut in The Facts of Life as Michael, Tootie’s cousin. In 1985, he made his first regular series appearance on Knight Rider as “RC3,” a.k.a. Reginald Cornelius III, the new mechanic who worked on KITT; he featured in the series’ fourth and final season.
Following that, Parros appeared in a number of popular American soap operas. From 1986 to 1987, he played Leo Baines on The Young and the Restless, Santa Barbara in 1992, One Life to Live as the second Dr. Ben Price from 1994 to 1995, and Dr. Benjamin “Ben” Robert Harris on As the World Turns from 1996 to 2005.Parros also played Officer Gus Grant in the short-lived The New Adam-12, a spin-off of the popular 1960s/1970s police drama Adam-12. He had a recurring role as firefighter Eddie Cooper in the CBS comedy The Family Man from 1990 to 1991.
