Maureen O’Boyle is a famous American news anchor and television reporter. She serves at WBTV News 3 located in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a lead anchor and anchors the weekly report “Stretching Your Dollar” currently.

Maureen has been the anchorwoman for the TV shows A Current Affair and Extra. On May 2, 2022, she reported that she will be leaving WBTV in June 2022.

O’Boyle went to work on weekends at WNCT in Greenville later on. She became a weekend anchor and news reporter serving for the Los Angeles-located TV series Extra in 1995.

O’Boyle left television to be a full-time mother in 1999. She returned to her hometown, to join WBTV  along with Paul Cameron as the station’s top female anchor in 2004. Since 2018,  O’Boyle  Cameron’s retirement has been the station’s main anchor and de facto face.
