Abreu joined the CBS 3 morning team as a meteorologist in February 2020, coming from NBC 7-San Diego, where she was the end-of-week climate anchor and weekday fill-in. Llarisa started her career in broadcasting at The Accuweather Network.

It was there that she predicted a wide variety of severe climate events, from tropical storms to the ferocious tornado outbreak that ripped through the US’s central and southern regions in 2014.

She was also in charge of the January 2016 snowstorm that hit the Midwest and Northeast. She recently partitioned inclusion on the environmental conditions during the Lilac Fire, which ravaged Eastern San Diego last December.

She has put in an effort both in front of and behind the camera. She uses her knowledge and expertise to provide you with realistic forecasts to help you get away from work for the day.
