Joyce worked for 17 years as the main anchor at WITI-TV FOX 6 News in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and later in September 2006, she left the station to join WISN-TV as a news anchor and reporter. Joyce, at one point, anchored three daily newscasts including the 10 p.m. report. She also worked part-time on fulfilling, meaningful projects and still be more hands-on at home with her family.
Before heading to Milwaukee, Joyce served as a reporter and anchor in Nashville and Wasau. She also worked as guest-visiting faculty at the Poyner Institute, a journalism think-tank in St. Petersburg, Florida.
She stays active with her alma mater, serving on Northwestern’s Council of 100, an invitation-only alumnae organization dedicated to mentoring and helping students transition from college to employment.
