Helen Raptis is an American host and journalist. Presently, she serves as a host of AM Northwest at KATU in Portland. In May 1998, Raptis joined KATU as AM Northwest’s ‘Roving Red-Head.’ It’s her dream job, interviewing celebrities and news-makers and having lots of laughs along the way.
Raptis reported on the “fun and quirky” side of Portland. She was inducted into the National Academy of Arts and Sciences Silver Circle. Raptis was awarded Regional Emmy and numerous nominations for her work on AM Northwest.
