Dan Thomas is an American meteorologist and journalist. He is working in Nashville at WSMV News4 as a meteorologist presently.  In August 2006, Thomas joined the station’s team. AR at KHBS and KHOG-TV as the morning meteorologist he commenced his full-time career in television in Fort Smith/Fayetteville. 

In 2004, his coverage of Hurricane Frances from the Louisiana Associated Press gave him “First Place for Breaking Weather”. Thomas was certified by the American Meteorological Society as a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist in May 2009.

He is excited to call Nashville home with its ever-changing weather, gorgeous terrain, very kind people, and ever-changing weather.
